‘Learn to Surf’ and ‘A Series of Surf Lessons’ for Yrs 9-13
plus specialist programmes for PE and Outdoor Ed classes.

Christchurch School Surfing Lessons
We are a Surfing NZ approved surfing school and operate to the highest safety standards. We have all the EOTC health and safety stuff covered.
Primary / Intermediate Schools Surf Lessons
Surf Safe
This entry level programme designed for school groups between the age of 8 -14 years. The programme teaches the basics of surfing and bodyboarding with a strong emphasis on surf safety. The programme has been running in schools in the Buller, Westland and Christchurch regions for 20 years.
All equipment provided including boards and wetsuits.

Adrenalin Max
A collaboration with Adrenalin Forest high ropes course at Spencer pack. For school groups, Surfing and High ropes all in one day. Teachers please contact us for more info.
Secondary Schools Surf Lessons
We offer Surfing and Bodyboarding lessons for school groups of 2 to 100 students. All equipment is provided. We can offer a one off Learn to Surf class to cover the basic skills or a Series of Lessons so students can master all the essential skills of surfing.
PE Groups / Outdoor Education
We can offer specialist programmes to suit. We are aware of the various Achievement standards that could be applied to surfing and we are happy to adapt our programme to suit your curriculum. Surfing can be easily applied to most of the Level 1 achievement standards. Schools in the past have used PE 1.9 or 1.1. We can structure the course and our briefings could include discussions to help assist in your learning outcomes. You’ll also find Surfing listed in Level 2.5 and 3.4 as a physical activity assessed to nationally developed performance standards.

After School Secondary School programme. Yr 9 -13
Students can attend lessons after school during Term 1 and 4.
A series of four to six 2 hour lessons run after school or weekends.
Cost $140 for four lessons (term 4 only), $195 for six lessons.

Term 1 and 4. 4.30pm weekdays and 3.30pm weekends. Choose your day and take one class once a week for 4 -6 wks.
