For ages 8 -16 yrs we have our SURFKIDS programme and for ages 13 -18 yrs we have our Secondary School after school lesson series. Kids are welcome to join our adults Learn to Surf classes as well with discounts for 14 yrs and under.
Surf Kids
Book early to avoid disappointment
This programme is for children 8-16 yrs to master the basics of surf riding with a group of children of similar age and ability.
Classes run Sundays at 10am and School Holidays.
Cost $35 per lesson or $165 for five lessons or $320 for ten lessons.

Sundays 10am -12pm start 11 Oct 2026.
11 Oct to 27 Dec 2026 and 10 Jan to 2 May 2027.

Sept / October : 28, 30 Sept, 2 Oct and 5 to 9 Oct 2026.
December : 14 to 18 Dec, 20 -24 Dec, 27 to 31 Dec 2026.
January : 1 to 3 Jan, 4 to 8 Jan, 11 to 15 Jan, 18 to 22 Jan, 25 to 29 Jan 2027.
April : 12 to 16 Apr and 19 to 23 Apr 2027.
Children’s Birthday Parties
Why not go Surfing for your next birthday. Have a two hour surfing lesson and then go one of Sumners’ great restaurants or get fish and chip by the beach.
We can do grown up parties too.
Cost: $35 per person. min. 6 pax. 8-16 yrs.

Secondary School programme. After school lessons for 13-18 years
A series of four to six 2 hour lessons run after school or weekends for ages 13-18 yrs.
Cost $195 for six lessons or $140 four lessons (4 lesson option available in term 4 only).
Term 1 and 4. 4.30pm weekdays and 3.30pm weekends. Choose your day and take one class once a week for 4 -6 wks.
