Toby Hille

Confident, direct and clear. You’ll be greeted with a cheeky smile and an eagerness to support your success. On and off the water you’ll have a lesson to remember. He started out as an understudy of the surf school alumni. During his time and success climbing the ranks of the scholastics’ surf team, Toby has seen both sides of the surf school. Meeting him as a student at St Andrews he stood out among his peers as a great example in the water showing confidence and leadership with his classmates. It was no surprise that we got him onboard as part of the Learn to Surf team. He hasn’t missed a beat in the 3 years coaching with us. A Maverick to Goose. He now busy’s himself planning tracks across reefs of the Sunda shelf in the off season.

Can be seen wearing a wetsuit with one short leg, look out for him in the tube at Taylor’s.
