  • Sheltered from the NE sea breeze
  • Best from low to mid / high tide
  • Watch out for the rocks at high tide

Breakwater

Good waves off tip of Break water – Beginner to Advanced.

  • Swells from N to E
  • Offshore in W to SE winds
  • Sheltered from the NE sea breeze
  • Best from low to mid tide
  • Watch out for the rip by the boat ramp and the rocks at high tide
  • Can get crowded on big days

Mussel Rock

Right hander off the rocks next to Cave Rock – Beginner to Advanced.

  • Best in clean E to SE swells at High tide
  • Watch out for rocks and rips especially at the Estuary mouth
  • Good high tide option in Sumner

Taylors Mistake

Powerful beach break – Intermediate to Advanced only.

  • Best in NE swell
  • Offshore in NW to SE winds
  • Watch out for the crowds and heavy waves
  • Great place for a picnic
